JIH supports the elementary school mainly through its Student Sponsorship Program and by partnering with NCCT for the purchase of the land and building of the school and church. JIH is also responsible for supplying many material needs through yearly shipping containers to bring new desks, teaching materials, school supplies.

This small shop located across the street from House of Joy is an outlet not only for employment, but also to learn a trade. Not only can clothing be made here and a few jobs have been created--there is also an instructor who comes to give sewing lessons for young men & woman learning to sew for themselves and family as well as to gain a skill to obtain a employment.

Haitians are empowered by a group from Kentucky that raises funds to provide materials to build homes as well as funds to hire local laborers. Through prayer and financial backing of this group, it should be said that materials and labor are derived from Haitian sources only! The group provides VBS education while in villages as well as supporting ministry needs for the NCCT.
