Pastor Brisenault had a vision. He pictured youth in Tabarre learning to play musical instruments at a music school hosted at the New Christian Church of Tabarre. One goal was to create an opportunity for youth to learn a new skill while gaining an appreciation for the joy of music. In 2018, the Community Music School of Tabarre became a reality!

With help from friends of Joy in Haiti, many instruments were donated and sent to Tabarre. Brass, woodwinds, strings, percussion ... all for the creation of the Community Music School of Tabarre. We are very happy to report that the school has gained a lot of interest among area youth! We look forward to seeing and hearing what these young musicians will do with their newfound skills!
We are seeking to continue the CMST's strong start so it can grow to reach more area youth. We seek to partner with 50 donors who can contribute $50.
